History

IC Motor Group, a mere fledging in the automotive business when it started 22 years ago, is now considered one of the key motor vehicle dealers in Northland.

From being the new kids on the block in 1987, Kelly Illerbrun and business partner Henry Belt have cornered a large share of the new and used car market in Northland. Both Kelly and Henry started in the industry as automotive engineers and with their years of down to earth knowledge of cars and engines, they developed the business from that knowledge base. Henry took over the vehicle sales side of the business, whilst Kelly took on the overall leadership of the company and management of the parts and services operation. They have since appointed a number of key managers to assist them in running the company.

From a handful of staff in small modified premises, the company has expanded to now occupy a state-of-the-art modern dealership with over 50 staff working in a wide variety of tasks. These include new and used vehicle sales, servicing, detailing and administration.
Customers are considered to be the most important factor of the business and our staff remember this at all times.

The market presence of IC Motor Group in Northland has allowed us to attract key marquees into the Northland market.
