Community Involvement

IC Motor Group is locally owned and operated and works with and supports a number of organisations within the community in which we live in.

IC Motor Group also has established partnerships with local sporting clubs that provide support to juniors, seniors and young players in the area. IC Motor Group is a proud supporter of the Child Cancer Foundation.

Supporting one of the foundation’s key initiatives, in association with the ‘Hyundai Wheels of Courage’ Appeal, we have helped Hyundai to raise over $2 million to date for the cause.

IC Motor Group in association with Hyundai New Zealand is proud to once again be the major sponsor of the Hyundai Pro Longboard Tour Event held annually at Sandy’s Bay.

The 2011 Hyundai Pro Longboard Tour has received sanctioning from Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Australasia with the most popular event of the tour held at Sandy Bay, Whangarei, being granted a 1-star Longboard Qualifying Series (LQS) rating.
